PRIVACY POLICY
Kalenner ("we", "us", "our") operates a service accessible through the Telegram application via @kalennerbot ("Service"). This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how we handle your personal data when you use our Service.
1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Kalenner is the controller, in the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), for the processing of your personal data through our Service.
2. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?
Our approach to data collection is minimalist. We intentionally limit the personal data we collect and store:
Telegram User ID: This is the only identifier we store in our database that connects you to your account within our Service.
Optional Public Profile Information: Any personal and contact information you choose to add to your profile (phone number, physical address, email, social media links, photo, etc.) is provided at your discretion and will be publicly available on your profile page (https://profile.findexpert.online/profiles/xxxxxxxx, where xxxxxxxx is your unique identifier).
Chat Messages: Messages exchanged between Specialists, Clients, and Organizations through our in-Service chat feature are stored in our database in encrypted form.
Documents: Files shared through our Service are stored in Amazon S3 cloud storage.
We do not collect or store any other personal identification information in our database.
3. WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA AND UNDER WHICH LEGAL BASIS?
3.1 To provide our Service
We process your Telegram User ID to create and manage your account, allowing you to access and use our Service. This processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you. Without this minimal information, we cannot provide you with our Service.
3.2 To facilitate communication between users
We process and store encrypted chat messages to enable communication between Specialists, Clients, and Organizations. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a functional communication platform as part of our Service.
3.3 To store and share documents
We process document files to facilitate document sharing between users. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing document exchange functionality as part of our Service.
3.4 To comply with legal obligations
We may process your data to comply with legal obligations, such as responding to legitimate requests from law enforcement authorities. This processing is based on our legal obligations.
4. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
4.1 Service Users
Any information you choose to add to your public profile will be visible to all users who access your profile page.
Chat messages are only accessible to the participants in that specific conversation.
Documents shared between a Specialist and a Client are only accessible to those two parties, except for documents uploaded by a Specialist through the Office->Documents menu, which will be accessible to all Clients of that Specialist.
4.2 Service Providers
Amazon Web Services (AWS): Our Service is hosted on AWS infrastructure, and our databases and document storage (Amazon S3) are located within their secure environment.
4.3 Law Enforcement and Authorities
We may disclose encrypted chat messages and other information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
5. WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
All data is stored on AWS servers located in the European Economic Area (EEA). We will not transfer your personal data to countries outside the EEA except (i) at your request, or (ii) to the extent necessary for the institution, exercise or substantiation of a legal claim. If such transfer is necessary, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.
6. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND HOW LONG DO WE KEEP IT?
6.1 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. These include:
Storing chat messages in encrypted form
Providing temporary, time-limited links (valid for 5 minutes) for document downloads
Using secure AWS infrastructure
However, please note that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.2 Retention Period
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our active systems, except where we are required to retain such data to comply with legal obligations.
